I planted this poinsettia last year after Christmas and look at it now! it’s about 4 ft tall and huge.

We went to Black Point Drive, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday and saw so much great stuff. I took a lot of shots of the Kingfisher as it hovered next to me (!!!) Here’s a sampling of those and a couple of my other favorite shots.

These were both taken by Vic. He was patiently waiting for the right pose while I was quilting. Whose time was better spent? Lol

I saved one of my best photos to share with you and to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
While we were on Black Point Drive last Sunday a flock of tricolor herons flew over. I caught these two. It looks like they are having a mid-air chat doesn’t it? (This looks better on a larger than phone screen.)

I think these herons are so pretty. I took this yesterday at Black Point Drive. Titusville/Merritt Island FL

I took this while standing on the truck toolbox on our recent trip to Titusville FL, on a drive through Black Point Drive.

Vic took this yesterday.

This is called a Sleepy Orange Sulphur Butterfly. It is sitting on lantana. Quite a name huh?

It’s beastly terribly unbelievably hot here. I’ve been sewing but Victor has been going around the resort taking pictures. These butterflies are absolutely gorgeous. All of them are Giant Swallowtails.
