Kelly visited us for the weekend before her weeklong conference in Orlando. We enjoyed seeing her tremendously! The only negative was the cold/cloudy days we had so we didn’t get to go to Apopka. Kelly loves that place as we do but she was happy to have the extra sleep instead. On Wednesday she and I had lunch at the Gaylord Palms where the conference was going on. So fun! That place is amazing, huge and lavish! She signed up too late to stay there, but next time! This conference is held annually and always at a Gaylord, in different cities.

I visited my daughters and their families recently and celebrated my grandson Bode’s 4th birthday. I also met my new grandson Finn. It was a very short visit but I had a great time. Saw my oldest grandson play flag football and soccer (he was an awesome goalie) and even managed a lunch with my buddy Charlotte at the Clifton Cafe.

We dropped her at Something to Bark At, recommended by a friend. Next door is Ritters Custard so naturally we had to try it out. omg best frozen custard ever! This is Zoe when we picked her up. She looks like she spent the day in a spa.

I’m very excited to share this news – I have a new grandson! His name is Finn. Here he is with his parents, my daughter Holly and her husband Justin. He is 5 weeks old.

Haha that’s one of our nicknames for her. I’m attaching a video I took this morning.

I made this for Victor who is s veteran of Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan and a retired career Marine. He loved it of course.

My sister Holly and her husband Andy are visiting this weekend. We took them through the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive this morning. We brought Zooey along too and she was perfectly behaved, spending a lot of time in my bag snoozing.
