Tekamah, Nebraska

This is a Harvest Host – an establishment called Master’s Hand – Every Woman’s Dream Shop. They sell an assortment of stuff for gifts, there is a florist shop, a small-ish restaurant and best of all homemade candy!!! I got some amaretto truffles. Yum! They also have homemade cinnamon buns that are scrumptious. The women running the place couldn’t be nicer. We are parked in a grassy area on the side of the building.

We are about 45 miles from Omaha.

We are still concerned about the bad weather coming through this area on Friday and Saturday.

Today we go to Kansas City MO (252 miles).

      1. WOW! I forgot that the two of you used to sit together and work in tandem in that quite wonderful quiltshop and school on the first level of your house in Alexandria. This quilt looks like a prize-winner. Your Mama sure taught you well, cooking- and crafts-wise!

Vic’s sure a lucky man to benefit from all that you learned:>)

        Happy trails, you two!

      2. Yes we sure had some fun times sewing together. I have lots of great memories from those days. She passed on her cooking gene to my younger daughter in a big way. She was a one in hundred million woman and touched so many lives in a positive way, always sharing what she knew. We were lucky to have her as long as we did.
