I bet you’re wondering how long this will go on, different birds and lots of them every day. So am I!!!
So here’s what we saw yesterday.
This green heron is in full breeding plumage. Look at the red legs and feet! The heron seems to have a nest in the dark wooded area behind him. I was thinking how fun to see baby green herons but they stay in or near the nest until they can fly so we won’t be seeing any babies. Bummer.
