Fight in the Sky

Kenansville FL

April 30, 2026

This morning we went out early with Paul on his pontoon boat along with Tom and Beth.

We counted 30 plus eagles!!! It was amazing to see so many eagles. We also saw about a half dozen snail kites and some other birds.

The most amazing thing of the morning was the eagle fight in the sky.

These are the two combatants
This one is my favorite

Some of these shots show the eagles yelling at each other! Most of these shots show talons extended and locked together!

These are all Vic’s. He had the camera while I had Zoe. Next time we need to swap.

Hope you enjoyed.

Stay safe. XO

  2. these are insane! I have never seen anything like it. If it weren’t for the yelling, you could almost think they were dancing in the sky.

Did you ever figure out what they were fighting over???
