We’ve been riding around the resort and down to the landing in the mornings in our golf cart. After 11 am it’s too hot to be outside. We are hoping for a break in the heat but in the meantime …

These were taken at the landing yesterday. They are all Pileated Woodpeckers. The males have a distinctive red stripe on their chins.
