Vic and I went out very late in the afternoon yesterday. It had been raining off and on all day and still mostly cloudy. I didn’t think we would see anything interesting. Boy was I wrong.
This area has so many eagles it’s crazy.
We drive down to the boat launch area on Joe Overstreet and saw this owl sitting on the top of a pine tree.
I’m a huge fan of owls, they have such pretty feathers and cute ears.
I won’t ever let a cloudy day stop me from birding again. 😊
