Owls at Overstreet

We drove down to the boat launch area on Joe Overstreet where there are 8 camping sites, a tiny convenience store/bait shop and a boat launch with lots of parking for boat trailers. They also do air boat tours. They keep the place looking nice with regular mowings. The great horned owls live in this area and this time of year they come out at the end of the day and sit on light poles or telephone poles or anywhere they want to really haha.

This is where we’ve been seeing the owls I’ve been showing you.

  3. Your favorite in this set of the owl flying is mine too. I love it. But I also love the one where you said “might be a repeat” – the owl on the left looks like he’s wearing a set of velvet regal pants and a cape! Haha
