Kenny’s Eagles

Kenny and his wife live nearby and are lucky enough to have a nest in their yard along with a second tree where they can sit and watch.

As you know eagles mate for life and usually but not always return to the same nest year after year.

We were worried Kenny’s eagles weren’t going to use this nest this year but now we are seeing them there often.

The last one is from this afternoon. When we arrived the eagle was already in the tree so we waited for it to fly. That’s the afternoon sun giving her (yes it’s a female) a golden glow.

We met Kenny through our friend Tom. Kenny spends part of the year at his other house in Indiana.
