Been looking for this gator – he lives just outside KARS Park. He is shy and ducked back into the water when he decided I was too close. The markings on his tail are very interesting.

This bird does not have oil glands so it has to dry off its wings before taking flight.

These guys were launching their boat with a golf cart LOL

Also saw this bird on the way home.

We saw this cool little (well, not so little) slider turtle on the way back.

There are signs for a nature trail in KARS Park but the trail is blocked off. Word is the wild pigs and gators are too close for safety. Today we found a trail with a paved path suitable for walking, running and biking. It goes about a mile, then connects to a wooden bridge leading to Kings Park with more pavement. It was very quiet on the trail, I saw one person on a bike. Victor walked in a ways with me and then went back to the truck. He is still having back issues and is working on his distance.
