Northern Harrier

Kenansville FL

Oct. 5, 2026

Riding around today Vic saw this Northern Harrier! Very uncommon around here.

Northern Harrier

It isn’t the best shot. It was so far out we could not identify it until Vic started editing. We’re just happy to get what we did.

Photographers around here call it the gray ghost because it’s so hard to find.

These are portrait shots we got yesterday afternoon.

Great Horned Owl

We were talking about how you tell the difference between the male and female owls. If you see a pair of owls then you can tell which is which because the female will be larger. If you see just one owl there is no way to tell which is male.

Limpin

Sitting on a floating dock with lake water behind it.

Male Snail Kite

Hope you enjoyed the show.

Stay safe. XO
